The Koro Kabalo Mini Hydro Power Plant (MHPP) is a strategic asset within the renewable energy portfolio operated by PT Trinusa Energy. Located in Kabalo Village, West Tojo District, Tojo Una-Una Regency, Central Sulawesi, the plant utilizes the flow of the Koro Kabalo River as its primary energy source. Logistically, the location is approximately 262 km from Mutiara SIS Aljufri Airport, with a travel time of approximately 6 hours and 5 minutes.

Technically, the plant has a total capacity of 2.20 MW, generated by two generator units, each with a capacity of 1,100 kW. This system operates on a head of 224 meters and a flow rate of 1.56 m³/s. The plant utilizes a Pelton turbine combined with a horizontal synchronous generator, supported by a 1.5 km-long, 0.9 meter-diameter penstock to channel water to the turbine.

This project has been in commercial operation date (COD) since February 14, 2022, with a 20-year cooperation contract period. The presence of the Koro Kabalo PLTM is a clear demonstration of the private sector's contribution to strengthening regional energy security through the sustainable utilization of natural resource potential.
