Established in 2010 in response to climate change, PT Bumiyasa Indonesia Energi (BIE) remains dedicated to conserving Indonesia’s environment by producing and distributing renewable energy across the archipelago. Since its inception with mini hydropower plants, the company has expanded through ten subsidiaries—providing sustainable energy from western to central Indonesia with plans to reach the east—and is currently evolving its capabilities through larger-scale hydroelectric projects. Moving forward, PT BIE continues to strive for a greener future by balancing the development of alternative energy with the empowerment of Indonesian human resources.

During the 2012–2025 period, we successfully recorded a Total Production of 280,508,066 kWh. This achievement demonstrates operational consistency and stable energy efficiency in supporting electricity supply over the past thirteen years.

From 2012 to 2025, the company’s mini hydropower plant (MHPP) have contributed significantly to greenhouse gases (GHG) emission reduction by generating renewable electricity that replaces fossil-fuel-based power in the grid. During this period, the total emission reduction reached approximately 231,880 tCO₂eq, contributing to the Net Zero Emission target by 2060.
